Welcome to LAKE CHARLES RETRIEVER CLUB (LCRC). LCRC is a family oriented organization, created by Hunters with Retrievers. The club has been organized to promote the enjoyable no nonsense training and testing programs where retriever dog owners meet, train, and learn about their purebred dogs together, in the truest interest of creating a versatile retrieving dog.
Our members are dedicated to the use of retrievers as conservation tools and betterment of the retrieving breeds through selective breeding, training, and testing programs.
Affiliations: LCRC is affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC), the Master National Retriever Club (MNRC) and Hunting Retriever Club (HRC). LCRC conducts both AKC and HRC hunt tests. LCRC is committed to being a progressive force in both HRC and AKC Hunt Test arenas.
Membership Meetings: Regular club meetings are held the third Thursday of each month beginning at 7:00PM. Club Training Days typically are held on the Saturday following our regular monthly meetings. Call Chris Fontenot, Secretary, for meeting place (337-515-2844).
